With youth centric cine delight Kai Po Che! making it to the BO, this not for the first time that our cine biggies have banked upon the charm of youth power to dish out a mesmerizing cine delight.

Be it "Dil Chahata Hai", "Rock On!!" or "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara" every time the tryst of our cine sorcerers have resulted in the making of some of the most mesmerizing cine sagas focusing the youth. But before you start making you perceptions about Kai Po Che! on the basis of your previous rendezvous with earlier made youth centric cine delights, let me tell you that Kai Po Che! is altogether different in its approach.

With no fairy world like college campuses, romantic hook-ups and weepy break-ups, and obtruded song sequences, Kai Po Che! is a cine delight which reintroduces you to the real life.

Synopsis
Before getting into the length and breadth the movie, let me tell you that, Kai Po Che! is a triumphant yell in Gujarati uttered when flying kites are cut.

Conspicuously, being inspired from ace novelist Chetan Bhagat's Best Selling novel "3 Mistakes of My Life", Kai Po Che! is a touching tale of three best friends who are young, ambitious, thoroughly youth full in their attitude who want to make it big in their lives.

As the tale rolls ahead, the story unfurls nearly all the spices of an Indian common man's life. Be it obsession for cricket, meddling of politics and religion in his life or the natural catastrophe, everything pertaining to India's "Aam Aadmi" has been magnificently crafted together in Kai Po Che! to mesmerize the masses.

Story
With a contour of Gujrat and Gujrati culture around it, Kai Po Che! is story of three friends Ishaan (Sushannt Sing Rajput), Govind (Rajkumar Yadav ) and Omi (Amit Sadh) who inspite of being on diverse aspiration spectrum are tied to each other with a bond of companionship.

In order to touch the horizons of their aspiration the trio decides to make a mark for themselves by venturing into a business of their own. And in the country where besides four religions "Cricket too enjoys the status of a religion", what else could be better than starting a Cricket academy. Hence the trio decides to start a cricket training academy with an intent of producing sporting legends for the country. Ignorant about destiny's will they go ahead with their dream plan, but soon after luck get cruel to the three friends, whose equations with each other are thrown into severe turmoil by Gujrat earthquake and calamitous event of the Godhra riots.

From there destiny takes over and start juggling with the lives of Ishaan, Govind and Omi, and pushes their grand plan of creating cricket legends off the rail.

Script
With Chetan Bhagat's best selling novel "3 Mistakes of My Life" at its roots and audience being well acquainted with the tale, everything to be said about the script of Kai Po Che! is going to be too meagre, to describe the brilliance the tale. With a magnificent onset set against the the backdrop of friendship, fun and quirkiness, narration beautifully transits into a social commentary.

Be it the aspirations, emotional aspect, natural catastrophe or communal disharmony every perspective knitted in the Kai Po Che! contributes magnificently to the flow of this otherwise captivating narration. Though some may feel that after so many cine flicks being knitted around the core of youth, cricket and communal issues what new Kai Po Che! is going to offer, but truly speaking the script of the movie is a standalone tale which will definitely make a space for itself in the psyche of masses. In nut shell showcasing some of the harsher realities of life, the narration of Kai Po Che! compels you to assimilate with it.

Screenplay
Well as far as screenplay of Kai Po Che! is concerned then for that director Abhishek Kapoor deserves a huge bunch of accolades for doing an absolute justice to this brilliant tale penned down by Chetan Bhagat.

By nurturing nearly every aspect of Kai Po Che! with utmost adroitness, Abhishek has thoroughly proved that before painting Kai Po Che! on celluloid he well versed himself with the spirit of the entertainment delight that he wanted to serve.

With a flawless script at its roots, screenplay and cinematography of the movie is simply impeccable. Be it any perspective of the movie, everything has got so much of emotional appeal that you prefer to go with the flow of the onscreen substance in the offering.

And the stand out feature which thoroughly showcases Abhishek's magnificent cinematographic understanding about movie making, is the simplicity with which he has showcased the some of the twisting sequences of earthquake and riots by keeping his characters in the centre at the same time leaving no space for melodrama.

Music and Background Score
Just like script and screenplay, in music department it's again a "Thumb up" for Kai Po Che! Amit Trivedi's mesmerizing tunes with a mild folksy tadka thoroughly magnifies the ambiance of this captivating tale.

Throughout the run time of the movie Amit's well placed music carols keeps you entertained without interfering with the onscreen proceedings. On top of it, background score, thoroughly attests the onscreen proceedings and adds on to the emotional depth of the movie.

Performances
At one point of time Abishek was caught quoting that some of the leading names of Bollywood preferred not to work with him, but after seeing the performance of Abhishek's newbie brigade, we can say that every thing that happens, happens for good only.

With sinewy show of acting from every protagonist in Kai Po Che!, it's difficult to pick up a favourite among them. By his performance as hot head complex brat, Sushant has simply proved that be it small screen or the silver screen, he owns the acting prowess by which he can impress nearly all the sections of audience.

Infact it won't be wrong to say that this sweet heart chap of small screen is here to stay in tinsel town.

Though Rajkumar Yadav's character is in sharp contrast to the other leading protagonists, with minimal words and mousy attitude, Rajkumar has thoroughly succeeded in proving his mettle as Govind.

Though initially Amit's character of Omi looks a bit underplayed, but as the frames move ahead and tale reaches it's end no one affords to overlook Amit, who thoroughly succeeds in grabbing the cine buff's attention.

Despite Kai Po Che! being an all boys show, Amrita Puri thoroughly succeeds in making her presence feel by her confident acting skills. Where as supporting cast comprising of Manav Kaul et al also does a thorough justice to their respective characters.

BO Potential
Possibly in the absence of glittering star cast Kai Po Che! may not emerge as a massive hit, but one thing which is fore sure is that inspite of it the movie is bound to recover its cost of production, and in the days ahead word-of mouth publicity is surely going to emerge as a boon for this thoroughly entertaining cine delight.

Verdict
To sum up, decorated with nearly every flavour of life with which every human can identify, Kai Po Che! is a must watch. And believe me you won't repent spending your precious time and hard earned money, on this excellent saga which in knitted around a core of realism.
