Sonakshi was dressed in a shimmery silver dress complete with a headgear. She stated the look was inspired by Parveen Babi's look in "Shaan". However, mediapersons could not help but point out a resemblance with yesteryear actress Reena Roy's look in songs like "Disco station" and "Jaane jaan".
When Sonakshi was asked if she felt the same too, Sajid answered instead.
"She looks very much like Sonakshi Sinha! In fact the two outfits that we chose were (inspired) by Parveen Babi...and another like Sridevi. You cannot compare her (Sonakshi) with any other heroine, she has her own style, own charisma and she is fabulous," said Sajid, who has helmed "Himmatwala", a remake of the 1983 film of the same name.
Again, when a similar query was posed to Sonakshi, Sajid responded: "Not really! What you see is what you get, this is Sonakshi Sinha - looking beautiful, looking very much the top heroine that she is, looking fab.
"When this song catches on, you will find a lot of girls - 14, 15, 16-year-old girls copying Sonakshi," Sajid said.
"Himmatwala" features Ajay Devgn and Tammannaah.
Is the letter H lucky for Sajid Khan?
Sajid Khan apparently is digging the alphabet H
Sources say that since his three films - Heyy Babyy, Housefull and Housefull 2 - crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office, it could be a coincidence or a deliberate move that the director's next also begins with the letter H.
The film is the remake of a 1983 Sridevi-Jeetendra starrer and stars Ajay Devgn and Tamannaah.
Sajid states, `It's a sheer coincidence that all my films begin with H, including Himmatwala. They have become hits. I am in no hurry to change the trend.`
