Divya Dutta's life has been chosen as one of the top 11 inspirational stories since 1984 by Savvy magazine in its 'I Believe Collector's edition'. The actress believes the edition can change the lives of many women in this male-dominated society.

"Definitely, India is a male-dominated country. Our films and society are also male-dominated and will always be. But its backbone will always be women because women give strength, " the 35-year-old said here Wednesday at the launch of the magazine.

"Today, all women are working. They work and also take care of the household. I think they are the most beautiful and strong force behind you. When something wrong happens in your life and you read someone else's story in the magazine, you definitely get inspired that if she can do it, then I can also do it, " Divya added.

Actresses Sharmila Tagore, Vidya Balan and Sarika, tennis player Sania Mirza, late model-turned-Odissi exponent Protima Bedi are among others who have been named in the list.

Divya started her career in 1994 with "Ishq Mein Jeena Ishq Mein Marna" and is mostly known for her strong supporting roles in films like "Veer Zaara" and "Delhi-6".

She has also done lead roles in films like "Train to Pakistan" and "Shaheed-E-Mohabbat".

Divya was recently seen in "Special 26" and "Zila Ghaziabad" and soon she will feature in "Lootera", "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" as well as Karan Johar's untitled film.
