Hrithik opened up about the issue on UTV Stars' "Yeh Hai Meri Kahaani".
"It all began when he was growing up. He used to imitate his house helper's diction and way of talking. This became a habit and the habit stuck on. He actually started talking like that and had to get the problem corrected by a speech therapist, " said a source from the show's set.
Hrithik began his stint in the industry as an assistant director to his father, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan. He made his acting debut with "Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai" in 2000.
The actor traces his journey from the start to date, on "Yeh Hai Meri Kahaani". The episode featuring Hrithik will go on air Sunday.
