"Mere Dad Ki Maruti" is produced by Y-Films, an arm of Yash Raj Films.
"I am doing two more movies with YRF but I want to do a lot more. I will stay here, work hard and deliver what is required from me. The scripts still need to be decided, I am working on the scripts," Chibber told.
She had a "brilliant experience" while making "Mere Dad Ki Maruti" for the banner.
"I have worked in YRF before. When the film was offered to me, I liked it. Everything seemed too good to be true, so I read it again. And each time I liked it, so I decided to go for it. Now the film is about to release and I am very excited," she said.
Chibber had assisted on films like "Chak De! India", "Pyaar Ke Side Effects" and "Rockstar".
This was her first directorial venture, and it was a bit of a challenge for her.
"I had never worked on a digital format and had never done a small film. I had worked on big films, so that was a challenge for me," she said.
Releasing Friday, "Mere Dad Ki Maruti" stars Ram Kapoor, Saqib Saleem and Rhea Chakraborty.
In future, the director is interested in making humorous movies.
"I love humour till the time it works for me. If it doesn't, then I will move on to something more exciting. I will go with the flow," she said.
