Irked by a question on her link to SP, actress-turned-politician Jaya Prada threatened to slap a reporter during her visit to Pratapgarh in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday.
Actress-turned-politician Jaya Prada on Tuesday lost her cool and threatened to slap a reporter when he asked her a question about her relations with Samajwadi Party, of which she was a leader till recently.
"Kya sawal puch rahe hain aap. Ek lafa dungi (What kind of question is this? I will slap you)," Jaya Prada, the independent Lok Sabha MP from Rampur in Uttar Pradesh, said.
"I am expelled by the SP...," she said.
The member of Lok Sabha from Rampur constituency was visiting Pratapgarh to meet Parveen Azad, the wife of slain Kunda DSP Zia-Ul-Haque, who was shot dead on March 3rd.
The actress and her political mentor Amar Singh were sacked by UP ruling party after the latter's relation soured with some senior leaders.
