Though they prefer to be tight-lipped, buzz is that Jacqueline Fernandez is feeling stifled in her relationship with director Sajid Khan.
The actress is apparently keen to move away and concentrate on her film career. There has been speculation about their state of affairs for a while now. There has also been intermittent buzz about their on/off relationship. But sources now state that Jacqueline has been telling those close to her that she wants to step away but on a cordial note.
Says a source, `What is making it difficult for her is that both she and Sajid now have a circle of common friends. In fact her business matters are also looked after by a person who Sajid recommended!`
Adds the source, `She is in no mood to settle down anytime in the near future. Last October, there was buzz that Sajid had met Jacqueline's parents and marriage was on their minds. But she does not want to tie the knot and instead is keen to make a mark in B-Town.`
Last year, the couple was often spotted together at events and bashes. However since the start of 2013, the duo were seen together only in early January at the premiere of buddy Riteish Deshmukh's Marathi film Balak Palak. Though Sajid has been busy with his upcoming film Himmatwala, they seemed to have been maintaining a low-profile as a couple of late.
The source adds, `In the past there were issues when Sajid became protective about Jacqueline telling her what films she should be a part of and not. She feels he is extremely possessive and controlling. But she has clearly been telling her friends that she does not know for how long this can go on. She is unsure of a future together with him.`
After her last B-Town outing Race 2, there has been news that she will feature opposite Ranbir Kapoor in debutant Vicky Singh's upcoming film. Incidentally, a decade ago, Sajid was engaged to Gauhar Khan, which was later called off. He was earlier also linked with telly actress Rakshanda Khan. There was also buzz about Jacqueline being linked with a royal family member from Bahrain where her family is based.
