"I don't want to go into details upon my divorce. I have two beautiful kids to look after and, as such, there's no reason for marrying again," The News quoted him as saying in an interview with GEO TV.
His statement is being taken as a surprise as speculations have been rife for almost a year that he had divorced Amrita and had plans of marrying with Italian model Roza. Though all his family members, including his mother Sharmila Tagore and sister Soha Ali Khan had openly disapproved his move.
Saif is in Karachi to attend one of his cousin's marriage.
He added: "I don't want to comment on my divorce and want to make it clear that I have no intentions to get married in near future."
Saif reportedly said that sometimes life took a 180-degree turn and everything changed in a moment. "My marriage was, like my divorce, controversial," he said.
About what drove him to visit Pakistan, the actor said, "listening to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan live on the occasion of my cousin's marriage."
Talking about his forthcoming films, he said he was currently working with Preity Zinta in Salaam Namastay.
