Aamir Khan is known to take his own sweet time before signing a film project. And buzz is that after deliberating over it for almost a year in true Aamir style, the star has finally given a go-ahead for joining the cast of Bombay Talkies.
A source close to the film reveals, `Aamir has already shot for his part in the film on Saturday. It was earlier assumed that it would be for the same part that Ranbir was initially supposed to do. However, it is something totally novel. Having him on board will just add more charm to the film.`
Speaking about the star's many film commitments, another source close to Aamir adds, `The talks with him went on for a long time. He has been really busy with his other films. But when he managed to find some time, he shot for it.`
A source close to the makers confirmed his presence in the film.
