Contrary to reports that a "question mark" hangs over the fate of Raj Kumar Hirani's "PK" following Sanjay Dutt's impending jail term, the dates issue regarding the precious project has been happily sorted out.

Aamir Khan has gone out of his way to allot dates out of turn to Hirani's film to ensure that Sanjay's scenes are completed before the latter's proposed incarceration starts from April 18.

The 53-year-old was sentenced to five years in jail by the Supreme Court March 21 for illegal arms possession during the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts.

He was asked to surrender in four weeks to serve his remaining term of three-and-half years as he has already spent 18 months in jail.

The shooting for "PK" is expected to take place next week.

Said a close friend of Dutt: "There is no uncertainty about 'PK' or any of Sanju's pending projects. He's done with his portion for Apoorva Lakhia's 'Zanjeer' (remake). Work on 'Policegiri' is almost over too.

Sanjay had made it clear that he would shoot for Hirani as soon as Aamir was available. Aamir's dates were the only area of uncertainty."

Aamir, one hears, has quickly given priority dates to "PK".

"Both Sanju and Aamir are very close to Hirani. They'd never allow his project to suffer," said the source.

Aamir's spokesperson confirmed that the star has allotted priority dates to shoot with Sanjay.

Sanjay Dutt works double shifts
To wrap up his next on time, the actor been shooting in the day and dubbing in the night. He is just a few days from his imminent surrender in court but looks like Sanjay Dutt is pulling out all stops to finish his pending projects.

Sources say that Sanjay has been busy shooting for Rahul Aggarwal's upcoming cop film during the day and has been dubbing for it in the night.

A source says, `With limited time left, he is doing double shifts. After a hard day's work, he has kept himself busy during the nights too. He has been extremely professional on the sets and gets limited time to spend at home with his family.`

The actor is running against time to finish his projects. `He intends to finish the film soon so that he can start with his other projects. To save time he started dubbing for the film after we are done with the shoot,` says Aggarwal.
