Though Shraddha Kapoor has featured in two films earlier (Teen Patti and Luv Ka The End), she feels like she is making her B-Town debut in her upcoming film directed by Mohit Suri.
She's banking on it heavily as she considers it as her big ticket to B-Town. What's more is that her aunt Padmini Kolhapure (who reigned in Bollywood in the 1980s) has been giving her some valuable tips.
Says the youngster, `My character in the film is of a Maharashtrian. Maasi told me to use it to my advantage. As I am half Maharastrian, the language and its nuances is something I am familiar with. So I could put in my extra bit for the role.`
She adds, `But I hope people don't compare me to maasi. It will be the biggest pressure on me. Even if I can be a little bit like her it would be a big achievement for me.`
Her favourite film of Padmini is Prem Rog. `I have watched several of her films but I think she was brilliant in Prem Rog. I hope I can do even a little bit of what she could achieve.`
Having been an industry child, films and acting was part of the daily conversation at home. `My father (Shakti Kapoor) has acted in over 700 films and there are many I haven't even seen yet!`
