Vidya Balan will reprise her role to promote fun movie "Ghanchakkar", as will her co-star Emraan Hashmi.

Releasing June 28, "Ghanchakkar" will see Vidya playing a Punjabi housewife with a outlandish and bizarre fashion sense.

Confirming this, the film's director Rajkumar Gupta said in an statement: "It is true that Emraan and Vidya will be in the look of the characters they are essaying in 'Ghanchakkar' during promotions."

This not the first time Vidya is playing her character during promotions. While promoting "Kahaani" the actress appeared as a pregnant women, akin to her character in the thriller, at the promotional events.

UTV is planning an extensive promotional campaign for the film.

"The film is a quirky one so the promotions need to be quirky too and UTV is the best in the business to pull off such innovative campaigns," said Gupta.
