"Being a producer, he has never pushed me. I have given my best to him because he has given me that space and time. He has never interfered in my work. He never forced me with any song or a singer," Mithoon told here.
"He always says, 'You are the captain of the ship and you can take it forward wherever you want to.'," he added.
The 28-year-old, who had teamed up with Bhatt's Vishesh Films for films like "Murder 2" and "Jism 2" and churned out songs like "Phir mohobbat" and "Maula", doesn't feel any generation gap when he interacts with the 64-year-old filmmaker.
"Mahesh Bhatt is someone who connects with the youth and this is a novel quality in itself. He doesn't belong to this generation, he is our senior, but when he sits across and discusses, then it seems we are talking to someone of our age," said the composer.
