"Bollywood has been very generous to me. It has welcomed me with open arms. "I feel proud to be associated with it. I am working really hard, " gushed the model-turned actress from Pakistan during a media conference for her forthcoming movie "Zindagi 50-50".
Having done a spate of films in Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi, following her debut in the Pakistani film "Tere Pyar Mein" in 2000, Malik became a household name after her appearance in Indian television reality show "Bigg Boss Season 4" in October 2010.
"I want to act in so many films. I prefer quantity with quality, " Malik said.
"Zindagi 50-50", scheduled for a May 24 release, will see Malik in the role of a sex worker opposite actors Rajan Verma, Rajpal Yadav and Riya Sen.
The actress is also working in Haroon Rashid's "The City That Never Sleeps".
