A source close to the team revealed that the song will see Bobby replicating Salman's "Dabangg" and "Ready" styles, among others, to impress his on-screen girlfriend, played by Neha Sharma.
"Films are written in a way where people can relate to it. It's a comedy, so we have used different things - my character is supposed to be a Salman Khan fan," Bobby told IANS and clarified "it is not a tribute to Salman Khan as such".
Directed by Sangeeth Sivan, "Yamla Pagla Deewana 2" also features Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Anupam Kher, among others. It is releasing June 7.
