Indian filmmaker Anurag Kashyap's latest flick 'Ugly' has been shortlisted for the Cannes Film Festival's Directors' Fortnight section.

Directors' Fortnight is an independent section held at the Cannes Film Festival.

The makers of the movie have launched an unique digital poster to give the audiences a sneak peek into the psychological thriller.

The digital poster depicts mysterious elements like the cat crossing a dark lane while the street shop's light blinking away.

The film features actors Ronit Roy, Tejaswini Kolhapure, Vinit Kumar Singh and Vipin Sharma in pivotal roles.

Written and directed by Anurag Kashyap, the film is a dark psychological thriller on the surface and emotional drama within.

Produced by Phantom Films and DAR Motion Pictures, 'Ugly' will be showcased at the Cannes Film Festival this year.
