She was spotted at a book launch session here on Sunday.
Konkona launched the book, "Chaos Theory", penned by playwrite and columnist Anuvab Pal.
The guests were witness to a brief conversation between Konkona, Anuvab and journalist-author Deepanjana Pal.
"Chaos Theory" is a story, interwoven through the theory of physics, which exemplifies bitter sweet romance and missed connections between abstract emotions of an aging pair of professors Mukesh and Sunita.
Konkona said, "I know Anuvab from a long time. He's so witty and funny. But it is his first serious book. The characters are witty. I think the hero plays more an anti-hero."
Anuvab said, "This was the first thing I wrote when I was only 21. It's about two professors and their unrequited love. I like an anti-hero in the fiction."
The author also disclosed, "My next book is about a corrupt bureaucart."
"It's not a classic love story in a cinematic sense. Sunita's character looks more stronger on paper," commented Deepanjana Pal.
Reacting on the idea of turning this book into a film, Konkona said, "Well, it could well be a film. It's an unconventional love story as they don't marry. So it has something different to cater to the viewers."
