Off-spinner Harbhajan Singh is all set to make a debut in a Punjabi pop album of singer Teji Sandhu.
Harbhajan would be coming to the city on Tuesday to shoot for the album titled "Gori".
"The album will have seven-eight songs, which will all be Punjabi pops," said a spokesperson of Shivpreet Entertainment, an event management company.
In the new avatar, the off-spinner, will be seen as playing cupid, trying to settle a tiff between two lovers, Teji Sandhu and Shweta (Nikki of Dekho Magar Pyar Se
fame).
Sandhu, the leading Punjabi pop singer, has lent his voice to Harbhajan in the album.
The cricketer is a close friend of Sandhu and hence accepted this offer to feature in the album, said the spokesperson.
The album is slated to release in June end or first week of July. The video would also be aired around the same time.
