It's a known fact that Salman Khan has always been protective-to-the-point-of-being-possessive about his
family members and close friends. Needless to say, he is also over-cautious about his ladylove Katrina Kaif's
career.
Little wonder that Kaif has signed just one film after her disastrous debut with Kaizad Gustad's Boom, and
that's Sohail Khan's home-production Maine Pyar Kyon Kiya, starring Salman and Sohail Khan in the lead. It
therefore came as a surprise that Kaif had signed on a film outside their home banner.
She's taken on Raj Kanwar's Humko Deewana Kar Gaye opposite Akshay Kumar. The twist in the tale comes
with Sallu's "very interesting" cameo in the film. Sources reveal that the off-screen couple get set to tie the
knot in the film, when Kumar's character makes an entry and changes the state of affairs.
This is Khan and Kumar's second film together, after Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. Both actors have also signed
Sajid Nadiadwala's next film, which will be directed by Farah Khan's editor-turned-director husband, Shirish
Kunder.
