Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani have been bonding big time on the sets of Indra Kumar's upcoming comic caper. The trio is working together for a sequel of their 2004 film Masti.
Riteish's wife Genelia has been a regular on the sets and spends a lot of time hanging out with the cast and crew. To add a homely touch to the unit, she has been bringing tiffins for everyone on the sets.
Says a unit source, `The call time for the shoot would always be early morning. By lunch time everyone would be famished and tired as the shoot was in the sweltering heat of Mumbai.`
Adds the source, `Genelia would often drop in to catch up with Riteish by afternoon. To give a homely touch to the unit, she began arriving just before the lunch break with tiffins not only for Riteish but for the rest as well. She would bring such huge quantities of typical Maharashtrian fare that the unit would pig out. They would tell her to come daily with her dabbas.`
Confirms producer Ashok Thakeria, `Yes, it was generous and sweet of Genelia to often come around lunch time with delicious homecooked food for all. She got such grand portions that the entire unit would enjoy the homely food and Maharashtrian delicacies.`
What's in the dabba?
Genelia's lunchboxes would usually consist of...
Puran polis
Aamti (Maharashtrian style tangy dal)
Kolhapuri fish
Shrikhand
Rice/chapattis
