The actor has signed director duo Raj and DK's next film tentatively titled Happy Ending, co-starring Saif Ali Khan and Ileana D' Cruz.
The actor is already working in Vipul Shah's remake of Tamil blockbuster Thuppaki, directed by AR Murgodoss. Govinda will also play a negative lead for the first time in Aditya Chopra's Kill Dil, helmed by Shaad Ali.
Says Raj Nidimoru, `We have been huge fans of Govinda for a long time and we thought that it would be a great idea to have him in the film. He is a great addition to our cast and comedy is his strength.`
After a string of flops at the box office, sources from the industry say Govinda was on an all-time low. An insider says, `He hit the gym, got back into shape and disciplined himself to ensure that his comeback would be bigger and better. That he has signed three big banner films proves he is back with a bang.`
There was also buzz a while ago that Govinda could soon be doing a film with his Partner co-star Salman Khan.
