Over the last few years, promotional activities have become more and more vital to a film's initial reception at the box office. Naturally, filmmakers and their marketing teams are leaving no stone unturned to come up with ideas that grab maximum eyeballs. While several elements from the film's storylines have found space on their posters and still photographs, what's interesting to see that the non-descript two-wheeler too has attained a place of prominence in the first look of a movie.
While in the earlier days, the hero often would be depicted riding in on a horse to save the damsel in distress, actors these days are comfortable riding on their scooters or motorbikes to chase the villains or ride with their sweethearts into the sunset.
From Akshay Kumar to Rishi Kapoor, actors have demonstrated their riding skills on a two-wheeler in their films. If that's not all, even marketing activities around a film's release have often seen two-wheelers being used. John Abraham recently flaunted his muscles with some biking-activity at a film promotion. Arshad Warsi rode a scooter to the premiere of Jolly LLB.
