Kavitta Verma, who will be seen dazzling the silver screen sharing it with Sanjay Dutt in a special dance number in the upcoming T.P. Aggarwal's Policegiri, lashes out on Mallika Sherawat's demeaning comment in the west.

Mallika Sherawat who has been away from Bollywood for quite some time now trying her luck in Hollywood apparently called India a regressive nation.

For obvious reasons our celebrities, who wave India's flag when they are shooting abroad or attending an international event, did not take this lightly & have lashed out openly for the struggler's demeaning comment for a Hollywood magazine.

Kavitta Verma who is already creating a stir in Bollywood with her debut in Policegiri's special dance sequence lashes out on Mallika at an event, `Regressive? Seriously? That's what she has to say to say about India. Wearing a bikini or a lip lock on silver screen is no biggie.

Our Veteran actors have been there & done that . We Indians & artistes are respected worldwide. Our very own Vidya Balan was a jury at Cannes.`

Belonging to an army background Kavitta Verma further adds, `I don't think I need to mention India's achievements. She would have known. It's depressing. I can speak a lot more but I will stop here.`

Kavitta definitely has the right to be angry, after all an army kid that she is.

She concludes, `I call that Mallika's claim to fame.`
