Sources say Amitabh Bachchan will apparently star in Sanjay and Maanayata Dutt's upcoming home production

Even before he surrendered to the court to serve out his remaining jail term, Sanjay Dutt had been ruing how Bollywood had shunned him during his darkest hours.

However, buzz is that none other than Amitabh Bachchan is starring in Dutt and his wife Maanayata's upcoming home production. And Big B will be playing himself in what is being tagged as more than just a cameo in the film.


Those close to Bachchan say that even after Dutt surrendered before the court, the Big B did not think twice about fulfilling his commitment towards the project.

Sources close to the Dutt parivaar say the actor was very clear he wanted to rope in the Big B for his film. After discussions, his role was finalised and the Big B shot his portions two days ago at Film City and Juhu.`


An insider says, `Dutt feels betrayed by Bollywood. While the industry is steering clear of him, Bachchan did not even think twice about the film now that the actor is behind bars and that it could affect the film.`
