According to sources, Anil Kapoor's next home production has failed to impress film studios

Anil Kapoor may be known for his acting chops, but when it comes to his home productions on the big screen, the actor has not exactly been lucky. Sources say that a project that his banner had announced a while ago is yet to find any positive response from production studios.

While Kapoor's Gandhi My Father received critical acclaim, his other films Shortkut -- The Con is on, Aisha and No Problem failed to set the cash registers ringing.

A source says, `It has been a while that his daughter Rhea, who handles films in the company, is trying to put a project together. Some time back the company had announced that they would be making a film titled Saat Hindustani about seven Indian students residing in the US that will feature new faces.`

The company has apparently approached several studios to back the project. `They still haven't received any favourable response for the script yet.`
