"It is an amazing ride. It is called Deep Space. It is India's first dark roller-coaster, which means that it is an indoor roller-coaster. Everything is indoors. There are stars and planets, which you can see around you. It goes at the speed of 86 km per hr. It goes totally upside down," Varun told.
The actor, who made his acting debut with "Student Of The Year", donned astronaut's costume and was seen persuading other people to try it with him at the launch.
The one-film-old actor said that on a free day, he won't mind coming to Imagica.
"I am 26, so I do what all 26-year-olds do. If I am free and have a holiday or something, I would definitely come here. I would come with all my friends. The reason that I have come here is because I want people to know that it is important. You don't have to always sit at home and watch TV. Get out to be adventurous, go hiking, come to theme park," he said.
But with other amusement parks being right in the city, what attracts him to Imagica?
"I think a lot has to do with the state of the art technology used in all the rides. Also, the food at Imagica is really good. It's also scenic and clean. There is a guarantee of all the rides being tests... it is really a good place," he said.
