News has it that Urmila Matondkar slapped Ram Gopal Verma´s wife for passing cheap comments on her character!
It all began when everyone was raving about Urmila Matondkar's performance in Pyar Tune Kya Kiya. Just about everybody in the film industry including producers, directors and colleagues were heard praising her performance of a young woman obsessed with a married man. But there was one woman who wasn´t impressed one single bit - film director Ram Gopal Verma´s wife! Up to her ears with critics calling up her husband to sing Urmila´s praises, she reportedly grumbled too all and sundry: "What's so great about her performance? She only played herself."
That is when Urmila reportedly lost her cool and placed a tight one on her souten´s(!) cheek!!
