Bengali film actor-director Parambrata Chatterjee, who made a mark nationally with his Hindi film 'Kahaani', turned 33 years on
Thursday.
Chatterjee is the grandson of veteran filmmaker Ritwik Ghatak.
He made his debut as an actor in a Bengali film called 'Bombayier Bombete'.
Chatterjee came to limelight nationally after starring in the film 'Kahaani'.
His performance was greatly appreciated in the film.
He has appeared in several successful Bengali films like 'Bombaiyer Bombete', 'The Bong Connection', 'Dosar', 'Chalo Let's Go',
'Baishe Srabon', 'Hemlock Society and 'Bhooter Bhabishyat' among others.
His directorial debut Bengali feature film is 'Jiyo Kaka'.
Chatterjee earned appreciation as a director for his venture 'Hawa Bodol'.
Following the success of 'Kahaani', Chatterjee has been reportedly signed by Oscar-winning director Jeffrey D. Brown for his
upcoming film 'Sold'.
Chatterjee has recently launched his production company named 'Workshop' with his long time acting colleague Rudranil Ghosh
and industrialist Dipak Raha.
