His brother is already a name to reckon with in Bollywood. And now we hear Shamaas Siddiqui, (Nawazuddin's bro) is all set to turn director.
Incidentally, Nawaz and his brother are taking part in creative sessions, which will decide whether the actor will become a part of Shamaas' debut venture.
Says Nawaz, `The casting is yet to happen. If I do it, people would say I did the film for my brother and if he casts me, people would say that Nawaz is available for him. It is an odd situation. Also, the fact is that we are very different in our approach. He thinks from a commercial point of view.`
While Nawaz rose to fame with Anurag Kashyap's Gangs of Wasseypur, his brother's film too is set in the North with crime as its backdrop.
`Without sounding biased, I think it's a brilliant script.`
