We all know, she is the real queen of Bollywood but thanks to J.P. Dutta, Aishwarya Rai is now getting an opportunity to play an actual queen on reel as well.

After directing several war movies, the veteran director has chosen to take a trip in the history and capture the life of Maharani Gayatri Devi, the erstwhile queen of Jaipur in his upcoming film.

The Rajmata to her subjects, Gayatri Devi was named one of the most beautiful women in the world by Vogue magazine. She was a princess of Cooch Behar in West Bengal before Maharaja Mansingh of Jaipur tied knot with her in 1939 and ever since people in her home state loved her for her invaluable work.

Aishwarya Rai is also thrilled about her new role and has been given a go-ahead by the queen herself. J.P. Dutta is relying on the Rajmata's autobiography ‘A Princess Remembers' for his film.
