The film Sixteen, about the fun age of 16 and how the age of innocence is losing its innocence in the age of fast-growing technologies and cut throat competition, has come up with this unique way of promoting their film.
The team is hiring teenaged girls who would be given tabs with few promos of the film. They would be stationed outside cinema halls, in multiplexes and in malls and would request people present there to see at least one promo of the film.
Says director Raj Purohit, `There is so many films that are releasing every week and to get noticed, one need to think how to break clutter.
Our marketing team along with producers Shailesh R Singh and Vishwas Joshi came up with this idea to make sure we reach people at these venues who are most likely to spend money on watching a film during weekends.`The film starring Izabelle Leite, Wamiqa Gabbi, Mahak Manwani, Highphill Mathew and Keith Sequeira.
Sixteen is slated to release on July 12.
