"I don't have a struggling period to talk about. I just want to thank everyone... the whole film industry embraced me with open arms. If I may use the word, it gave me a surrogate family when I came here. I have been fortunate," Shah Rukh said at the music launch of Rohit Shetty's 'Chennai Express'.
The 47-year-old actor seemed to be fine after his shoulder surgery, as he showed off some dance moves with leading lady Deepika Padukone alongwith background dancers.
Also present on the occasion were South actress Priyamani, Nikitin Dheer, Shekhar Ravjiani of the Vishal-Shekar duo, Singer Neeti Mohan, lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya, producer Ronnie Screwala, T-series head Bhushan Kumar and others.
"It is memorable moment to release the music, it is a beautiful music. It is nice to have SP Balasubramaniam (noted singer) on board, we are huge fans of him. He is 67, but sounds like a 20-year-old. We had one of the best experiences ever to work with a legend," Shekhar said.
Veteran S P has sung the title track 'Chennai Express' In a novel way of setting the mood for the film, media persons were given 'lungi' (the traditional attire of South India) and cut-outs of trains were also kept at the venue.
