Despite being in pain and undergoing physiotherapy exercises, the actor managed to give back-to-back performances on the sets of a dance reality show

On Wednesday evening, a sharp pain gripped Shah Rukh Khan while he was on the sets of a dance reality show. SRK had come to the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa sets to promote his upcoming film and had to put up an elaborate dance performance.

Still recuperating from his shoulder surgery, the actor had to rehearse his steps twice and was spotted resorting to physiotherapy exercises to ease his pain. A source from the sets says, `SRK had back-to-back events as he had to attend the music launch of his film after doing his bit on the dance show.

He had to rehearse his opening act twice.` And it was not just one dance sequence but three that Shah Rukh had to do while he was there. `He did a small act with show judge Madhuri Dixit on a music track from one of their films.

Later he also performed along with Drishti Dhami, a new contestant on the show and then with his Kuch Kuch Hota Hai on screen daughter Sana Saeed,` adds the source.

Incidentally, while he was on the sets, SRK apparently was operating with only one hand, to pick up things or even eat his food. The actor preferred to keep his right hand at ease or safely tucked into his pocket. At the later event, Shah Rukh apparently requested his team and co-star Deepika Padukone to stand on his left, to pose for the shutterbugs.
