Though B-Town buzz is that the almost-40-year-old Ravs is keen to act again and has been working in that direction, the actress has maintained that she will only do those projects that really interest her.
The film, sources claim, is a remake of a Bollywood comic caper and has Mohan Babu, Manchu Vishnu, Manchu Manoj, Hansika Motwani and Tanish as her co-stars.
Says an insider, `Though the Telugu film has not been titled and the makers are tightlipped about the multistarrer, it is a remake of Rohit Shetty's Golmaal 3. Mohan Babu is reprising Mithun Chakraborthy's role while Raveena is doing Ratna Pathak Shah's character. Hansika is in Kareena's role while Tanish is essaying Tusshar Kapoor's character.`
Adds the source, `The film's shoot schedules took place in in Italy and Thailand. Raveena was part of the shoot in Venice (Italy) where she shot for a song.`
The actress has featured in South films earlier. She did a Telugu film Bangaru Bullodu with Balakrishna in 1993 and in Akasa Veedhilo in 2001 with Nagarjuna. Her 2001 Tamil film Aalavandhan with Kamal Haasan was also dubbed in Telugu as well as in Hindi as Abhay. For Raveena, it is a comeback to Telugu films after 12 years.
