Ram Sampath's association with Aamir Khan has been a long and fruitful one.

Talking about Aamir's views on music, the composer tells CS that the superstar does have them, and very strong ones at that.

Ram says, "Aamir has very positive musical views. He comes to music as a layman. His thinking is that, 'If I enjoy it, others will enjoy it too'.

I think the difference between him and 90 per cent other producers is that he isn't afraid. He doesn't come and and say that if this song is not a hit our film will flop. He comes and says, 'What a film we have, now let's take it one level up.`
