Sonam Kapoor's ripped gown caused her to almost miss 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' press conference

Even the best of the fashionistas are allowed to have a bad day. Sonam Kapoor suffered a wardrobe malfunction just before the press conference of her film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.

It was during the day in Chandigarh on Thursday that Sonam appeared in a gorgeous peach coloured gown. But even before the event could start, she realised she had ripped her dress. She rushed back to her hotel room to change into a grey salwar kameez.`


Though she missed out on a major chunk of the event, she managed to rush back towards the end when it was halfway through.

Insiders say that Sonam's delay had managed to irk several other attendees, as they had to go for two other related events post the media briefing.

An onlooker says, `The press conference had to start with Sonam. Post the event, she went for the special screening arranged by Milkha for his friends and family.`


In the evening, when the makers had arranged for another screening for the Defence Forces posted in the city, while the rest of the team rushed off change their attires, Sonam decided to flaunt the same salwar kameez.

A source from Chandigarh says, `Most Bollywood stars take great pains in looking their best at all public events. Sonam travelled to Chandigarh with two suitcases full of clothes. Perhaps, her earlier mishap put her off changing her clothes again.`
