Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, whose first film with son Abhishek ''Bunty aur Babli'' has just been released,
feels his most satisfying father-son role was in the film 'Shakti' where he had acted with his screen idol Dilip
Kumar.
He was particularly touched when the thespian came to see his film 'Black' and had a special word of praise
for his acting.
''Not only that, but he was nice enough to go back home and send me a note about my role in the film. That
was a most touching moment for me,'' he added.
He said Dilip Kumar, Motlilal and Hollywood stars like Al Pacino had been his screen idols from childhood.
But Amitabh admitted that he had thoroughly enjoyed acting in 'Bunty aur Babli' which proved to be his
second film with Rani Mukherji this year since he had earlier appeared with her in 'Black'.
''Abhishek and I were typical artistes on the sets and I was the parent only at home. And I never criticised
him. But he did, particularly in the dancing scenes. It was nice to pack our lunch together, leave for the same
studios in the same car, eat together, and return home in the evening. It is a good feeling,'' he added.
He said in reply to a question that there was nothing in the offing at present to act with his wife Jaya who had
appeared with him after several years, in the film 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham'.
But he was not averse to the idea provided there were suitable role and a good subject comes along The
interview took place immediately after Amitabh spoke to a large number of his fans from all over the country
who had won awards in a contest for the promotion of his film 'Waqt -- Race Against Time'.
