Back in 2002, when Shah Rukh and Salman had a bitter altercation on the sets of Chalte Chalte (after the latter disrupted the shoot), it was once again Salman who first showed the inclination to resolve their differences.


The two didn't exchange a single word for two years but things took a turn for the better at Farah Khan's sangeet ceremony.

While during the party, the two remained aloof from one another, towards the end as the rest of the guests started departing, Salman went over to hug SRK.

The latter hugged him back and both were reduced to tears. The party shifted to Salman's Bandstand residence and continued till the wee hours.

At arm's length


After their very dramatic fall-out at Katrina Kaif's birthday party in 2008, both Shah Rukh and Salman came under the same roof several times post that. And on every occasion, both the stars were apparently extremely uncomfortable in proximity to the other.

December 2009: It was for the first time since their bitter parting that the two stars came face to face with each other. While SRK was seen chatting with Aamir Khan, Salman was caught staring at his bete noire.


January 2011: When Salman won the Best Actor award for Dabangg, he refused to go on stage to collect his award as Shah Rukh was the host of the evening. Instead, his brother Arbaaz accepted the award on his behalf.

Also, the two attended Aamir's party for his nephew Imran Khan's wedding. While SRK came with his wife Gauri, Salman came solo. Both apparently stood in different corners. Something similar had also taken place at Ramesh Taurani's silver jubilee wedding celebration in August 2009.

November 2012: Soon after Yash Chopra passed away, SRK played host at the premiere of Jab Tak Hai Jaan. While Salman was present at the venue, he didn't watch the film co-starring his alleged ex Katrina Kaif. He had in fact come to attend an after-party.


2013: On a recent occasion, SRK skipped a flight apparently because Salman was on it. Previously too whenever they shot at the same time at Mehboob, they have been known to steer clear of each other.
