Neha Dhupia has completed a decade in Bollywood and prefers to compare her life to a wave

She says, `There have been ups and downs in my career but I did what I felt was best for me. I have come a long way from my red bikini act in Qayamat. Now I prefer to take each day as it comes. There is no tearing hurry to prove anything to anyone.`

Though the actress prefers not to talk about her personal life, she never shied from being spotted with the guys she was linked with squash champ Ritwik Bhattacharya and later with Venezuelan James 'Jimmy' Sylvestor, with whom she was seen at events after her split with Ritwik.


Presently Neha is single. She says, `I seem to scare the guys away,` she says. `But I am in a happy space apart from my work commitments, I love my work outs. To celebrate my 10 years in the industry I went running at the Mahalakshmi race course. When it starts pouring, I love to go for drives.`

Neha has two more films in her kitty. She features in Rensil D'Silva's upcoming film as well as Akashdeep Sabir's comic caper. `Why aren't I doing more films? It is a question of whether I want to do just anything or not. So I choose the latter,` she states.


The actress, who is busy on the events and endorsements circuit, keeps travelling a lot. `Somewhere in the future I will get behind the camera and turn producer. I don't think I want to direct but tossing story ideas and overseeing the filmmaking aspects is something that I see myself doing somewhere down the line.`
