While many young models are just rushing in to glamour world, Neha Hinge said she never believed in being a part of the rat race.

The former Miss India, who makes her big Bollywood debut with Joe Rajan's 'Luv U Soniyo', landed in to the industry by chance.

A software engineer from a small town in Madhya Pradesh, Neha won the Miss International 2010 title and bagged the lead role in 'Luv U Soniyo' by chance.

"Besides having a great personality, Neha is a very intelligent actor having a strong academic background. Neha was recommended to Joe Rajan by ace director Madhur Bhandarkar, who spotted her at the beauty pageant," said an official spokesperson.

In the film, she plays the lead role of a Punjabi girl 'Soniyo' who is upbeat, lively and carries positive energy.

The actor has left her director impressed with her acting caliber and spontaneity.

Director Joe Rajan said, "Beauty is an asset for a film career, but there is so much more to Neha. Her dedication and focus helped her get in to skin of her character. And when you will watch the film, you realize that Neha definitely doesn't look like a new comer.`
