Anuj Sawhney, who stole the limelight with his restrained performance in "Naina", is off to the US for the pre-production of his first Hollywood film. The film, with one of the biggest studios there, is to go on the floors in September 2005.

Back home, Anuj's career awaits his next releases - "Brides Wanted" with the legendary Waheeda Rehman and Girish Karnad and Kalpana Lajmi's "Chingari" opposite Sushmita Sen.

Anuj is also eagerly awaiting the release of Harmesh Malhotra's next film, which has him as an action hero and where he finally gets to use his martial arts expertise.

Talking about his role in "Brides Wanted", Anuj says: "My character is of an NRI boy who comes to India and stays with his grandparents for an arranged marriage because he believes in that concept very strongly and his experiences in the process of meeting girls. It's a fun film."
