Ram Gopal Varma, whose name is synonymous with experimentation, has now moved to comedy with "Mr
Ya Miss" starring Aftab Shivdasani and Ritesh Deshmukh.
It took Sunil Chainani and Samir Shrivastava to convince Varma to deviate to comedy, reports Bollywood
Trade. Varma and the two young directors of the production house Horseshoe Pictures will be producing the
comedy together.
To be directed by Satchit Puranikand and Antara Mali, another first for "Mr Ya Miss" is that it has the actress
also at the helm of the scriptwriting for the film.
The story is about a man's mind trapped in a woman's body. "It is a very unique concept and has given us
another opportunity to deliver a distinct look to the art of film making. The audience can look forward to
something different and exciting," says Varma.
Aftab and Ritesh, who team up for the first time since "Masti", will be joined by Divya Dutta, Bharat Dabholkar
and others in the film.
