TV actress Urvashi Dholakia (in pic) has filed a police complaint after her money and laptop were stolen from her car last afternoon.

Dholakia, who was the winner of Bigg Boss season 6, had visited a 5-star hotel in Bandra to lunch with family.

It was only at night that she realised that Rs 51,000 in cash and her laptop had been stolen from the boot space of her car.

She rushed to Juhu police station, following which a case of theft was registered at Bandra police station, as the crime had occurred in their jurisdiction. Officials said that Urvashi went to the hotel with her brother Anurup and mother Kaushal and the family was being chauffeured by Akhtar Sheikh. According to her statement, the driver had parked the car outside the hotel.

After an entire day's outing, when she returned home at 10 pm, she checked the car and found that the laptop and cash was missing.

A Bandra police officer said, `A case under Section 379 (theft) under IPC has been registered against unknown people. We suspect that when the driver left the car unattended, the accused stole the valuables.`

When asked why such a large amount was in the car, Urvashi chose not to respond, saying instead, `Yes, I did file a police complaint and they are investigating the matter.
