King Khan is clashing with a Tamil superstar and sparks will definitely fly. Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film is releasing on the same day as that of Vijay's film Thalaivaa and the battleground is Tamil Nadu.
Sources say that SRK's decision to add the Thaliava-Lungi Dance as a tribute to South sensation Rajnikanth was to mainly attract Southern audiences.
Says an insider, `The idea was to attract more audience for his film with Deepika Padukone. But every time the song is played Vijay's film gets promoted as it has the same title as that of the track. It might sound funny, but it's not. `
Interestingly, this is not the first time SRK and Vijay - who was last seen in Rowdy Rathore - are clashing at the box-office in Chennai. They crossed each other's path in 2011 too.
`Back then, Shah Rukh was coming up with his superhero film RA. One and Vijay was promoting his action magnum opus Velayudham. In the end, the latter's film scored with a home business of around Rs 175 crore, ` adds the source. So who will win round two?
