As of now, Hollywood seems to be tripping with sequels and biopics. In a similar vein, Bollywood has a tendency to go for remakes. But when it comes to scripts with double roles, Hindi films are way ahead of their Western counterparts at least in numbers.
After all, it's one of those themes our desi film-writers never seem to give up on. From Dilip Saab's Ram Aur Shyam to the turn of millennium with Hrithik Roshan's Rohit and Raj, double whammy has never gone out of fashion. Abhishek Bachchan

Ajay Devgn
Deewane (2000) was the last film that showcased Ajay in dual role. For choreographer-turned-director Prabhudheva's next, the actor is rumoured to be playing two avatars.
