Bollywood actors Sunil Shetty and Jacqueline Fernandez shared their birthdays on Sunday.

While Sunil, who was born in the year 1961, turned 52 years, Jacqueline turned 28 years of age.

The 'He-Man' of Bollywood, Sunil Shetty started his career with the film 'Balwaan' in 1992.

In between 1992 and 1994, he did a few films, but his first major hit was 'Mohra' (1994), where he shared the screen with Naseeruddin Shah, Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon.

The actor starred in films like 'Refugee', 'LOC Kargil', 'Hera Pheri', 'Kaante', 'Shootout at Lokhandwala' and others.

Best known for his action hero image, the actor has also done many comedy movies like 'Hera Pheri', 'Awara Paagal Deewana', 'Phir Hera Pheri', and 'De Dana Dan'

Though not commercially successful, the actor's film 'Red Alert: The War Within' won various critical acclaim and Shetty won SAIFF (South Asia International Film Festival) for the film in 2009, in the category of Best Actor.

The actor also won a Filmfare Award for Best Villain in 2001 for his film 'Dhadkan'.

The actor also produced films like, 'Khel - No Ordinary Game', 'Rakht: What If You Can See the Future', 'Bhagam Bhag' and others under the banner of his production company, Popcorn Motion Pictures Ltd.

The actor was recently seen in the film 'Enemmy' has a a long list of upcoming films including 'Chai Garam', 'Chaassni', and 'V' among others


Sunil has a Black Belt in Kick Boxing and is also the captain of the Mumbai Heroes cricket team in the Celebrity cricket league.

He is married to Mana Shetty and has two children named Ahan and Athiya.

Jacqueline, who is a Sri Lankan actress, former model and Miss Sri Lanka Universe in 2006, made her Bollywood film debut in 'Aladin'.

The film won her International Indian Film Academy Award for Best Female Debut and Stardust Award for Lux Exciting New Face in 2010.

After her debut, she subsequently featured in several commercially successful films such as 'Murder 2' (2011), 'Housefull 2' (2012) and 'Race 2' (2013).

She will feature in lead roles in her upcoming films, which include 'Kick' and 'Roy'.

The actress is also expected to play a lead role in 'According to Mathew', which is her Hollywood debut.
