Come October 11, Amitabh Bachchan will have one more reason to celebrate apart from his birthday

Contrary to initial buzz that the 3D version of 1975 hit Sholay was to release on August 15, sources now say that the film will hit the marquee on Big B's birthday.

Insiders say that with the 3D film now most likely to release on October 11, its promo could be out on August 15. A source says, `The date was specifically chosen as it coincides with Bachchan's big day. He is the biggest star we have today and what better day to release the film.`

Jayantilal Gada remained unavailable for comment.
