Back in 2008 when Kamaal R Khan made his Bollywood debut with Deshdrohi, it managed to create ripples across the city. Though the film sank without a trace, it managed to rake up controversies on its subject of north Indians in Mumbai.
Though it was banned in Maharashtra for two months, we hear that now the film will be getting a sequel. And what is more surprising that Vivek Oberoi and Sudhir Mishra could be a part of the project.
An insider says, `KRK has been trying to come up with a sequel ever since the first film. He even offered it to Amitabh Bachchan while he was on a reality show.
However, with recent developments on the sequel, sources say it's Vivek who has been roped in to play the lead. Sudhir Mishra is believed to be helming the project. While on sources say that Vivek has been mulling over whether to sign the film, another confirms the actor's presence.
