Boney had separated from Arjun Kapoor and Anshula's mother Mona to marry Sridevi and it was a not-so pleasant parting between the former husband and wife. Insiders say while Arjun had accepted Sri into the folds of the family, Anshula was not so forthcoming.
An onlooker says, `Arjun has put the past behind him and moved ahead in life. Anshula's presence at Sri's party came as a surprise for many. Perhaps the two have sorted out their differences. ` The Kapoor scion seemed to have shed oodles of weight and was not instantly recognisable by many guests. Anshula remained in the company of Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem for most of the time.
In an earlier interview with HitList, Arjun had said, `We (Sri and he) have a very cordial relationship and she is somebody who is a part of my father's life. She has always been respectful about my work. We don't really have conversations about it. `
Sister act
In the meanwhile, Anshula is known to be quite close to her brother Arjun. As she was keen to tie a rakhi to her bro, she went an extra step to fly all the way to Chennai, where he had been shooting. A friend of the siblings says, `Arjun is a doting brother and he is extremely fond of his sis.
Even during his shoots, he makes it a point to catch up with her. But this time he was unable to come to Mumbai due to his shoot in Chennai, so he asked Anshula to visit him instead. Arjun was extremely happy to spend the day with her. `
Sources close to them say that it is Anshula who takes care of Arjun's social networking pages. She keeps in touch with his fans and even updates them about the latest happenings in the actor's life. `She replies to all of Arjun's fan mails, ` adds the friend.
