Actor Ajay Devgn says he wants no two big banner movies to be pitted against each other to ensure that nobody in the industry suffers

After the long-drawn battle over the allotment of screens between his "Son of Sardaar" and "Jab Tak Hai Jaan", gossip mills are abuzz that his upcoming Rohit Shetty film "Singham 2" is likely to hit screens next year on Independence Day along with Akshay Kumar's "Gabbar".

"We are thinking about it (release on Independence Day). Let's see what happens as we are yet to begin shooting. I would like to clarify that there is no clash with anyone of us, " Ajay told.

Asked if he is ensuring that his film does not release with another big project next time, Ajay said, "I would want no two films to get released together so that nobody suffers as this is one industry.

But if you have to clash then you have to go all out like I did with 'Son of Sardaar' and came out victorious. " The 44-year-old actor insists that he has been fighting for his right and asking only for a fair view on the matter. "I feel the issue needs to be sorted out and that is why I am in court.

It wasn't going to help me alone. By going to court I am spending money not for 'Son of Sardaar' but because I had seen this problem earlier. And I feel this problem is going to multiply and whoever did not believe in it will suffer, " Ajay said. Though Rohit and Ajay are known to be thick friends but the actor has not seen Shah Rukh Khan starrer "Chennai Express" yet.

"I have not seen it but I have heard that it has done well. I am happy that its doing very well, " he said. On the second installment of Milan Luthria's "Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai", the actor did not comment much.

"I won't say that the spark was missing from the film. A film depends on lot of things from script to release date to lots of other things. I don't want to comment on this matter, " he added.

Meanwhile, the actor is looking forward to the release of Prakash Jha's political drama "Satyagraha". "A great balance between keeping it real and still making it commercial and that is what Prakash Jha is good at.

I like doing aggressive films. His films have that aggression and it very well targets the youth. "Because today's youth is aggressive and is concerned with whats happening in the country which was not happening 20 years back, " Ajay said.

On whether its going make an impact, Ajay said, "I don't know about the difference (its going to make in the society) but it will entertain them.

And people who are concerned about all this will get a message will get a guideline how to get ahead with it. " "Satyagraha" is a multi-starrer project featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpayee, Kareena Kapoor and Amrita Rao.
